How did I do here?

Hey guys. I decided to bury my sump discharge line the old owner had a failed 2" line that froze and popped.
I buried sch40 pvc and built a freeze protector with a reducer fitting to enable the pipe to be able to move up and back down through the seasonal freeze and thaw cycles and to help relive that stress on the below grade portion on the line.
It's one man, me lol, 52ft run at 14" depth and 5hrs of my time to fully complete with all sod replaced check it out.

Looks good to me (BWDIK)... I would not have bothered to dig and lay 50 feet of pipe though.

Yeah I hear you, trust me! but there's a fine line between the hunny-do list and the "f" it list. I chose to work on my "f" it list because screw more painting lol

I would have done the outlet differently.

I usually dig a big hole under and around the outlet, and fill it with about three or four bags of drain rock.
Then I drill about 8 or 10 3/8 inch holes towards the bottom of the drain elbow.
So that water can get out of it, and soak into the ground.
It is less likely to freeze this way, and less likely to heave out.

Yeah I modified a fitting to go from the 4" sch40 to the NDS pop-up and also drilled holes as well so it should be fine. I usual don't like pop ups unless conditions allow meaning good slope and high volumes of water upon discharge. Like anything tho, stuff just needs to be maintained before the earth swallows it!
