I bought this vinyl flooring a few years back thinking we were going to use it in our basement. Plans changed and I'm trying to sell it on Facebook. I have 15 boxes it comes prepadded I'd like $500 for it but everyone keeps offering $300

I would add it is worth what someone will pay or what you are willing to let it go for. If you want rid of it then the offers you have are what you can pick from. You can hang on to it and expand your search for a buyer and maybe do better.

Keep in mind when you bought it you ordered enough to juts do your project with 10% extra. The buyer likely can’t match it and his room might not be as large as yours so he will have more left over.

Personally I would have taken the 300.

On the flip side, it may no longer be available so as Bud points out the person may wind up with extra, or the inability to buy more if they're a little short. I'd take the $300 just to get rid of it without suffering too much of a loss. You could try Craig's List but I've had better luck with FB marketplace than Craig's List. Alternatively, you could donate it to a HFH Reuse Store and get a warm feeling inside.
