    Kitchen Countertop Advice Needed

    I have also installed granite countertops because of the strength and durability. I have seen some other countertops that I really like more than the granite, but I'm sure they will not be nearly as durable and will cost you double the amount if you have to replace them in a few years time.

    Help me choose a color.

    I think the gamesroom would look nice in a darkish blue color, but then you will have to paint the green room in a white or off-white color. This will accentuate the gamesroom and it will look "fun and funky" in contrast with the warmer pink and orange walls. Hope this will help you Chris

    I use baking soda to clean just about everything.

    Baking soda is a real winner! My wife believes in using baking soda to get rid of smells as well. When you want to get rid of smells in plastic containers, you can also use baking soda for that. Let the baking soda stand overnight in the closed container and by tomorrow the smell will be gone!
