I have a painted deck that hasn't seen much love in the last 5 - 6 years (enclosed pictures). Do I need to get all the paint off before apply another coat of paint? If yes, can I use either a power washer or chemicals to remove old paint? Thanks

I have a Goodman Electric furnace that has an Aprilaire humidifier attached to it on a house built in late 1970's - I started up the humidifier and notice water leaking from bottom of furnace The picture shows the furnace / humidifier drain pipes (one from furnace and one for humidifier)...

The Moen 1394 Diverter is extremely long and my deep 1 inch socket isn't long enough to accommodate the length of it (the diverter extends through the end of the deep socket). It would be a tight fit to get a wrench on it and I'll probably drop it into the dark unknown How have you folks...

I have a chimney crown repair question - As you can see by the pictures I have attached, two sides of the crown need repair - Is it possible to just repair the two sides by mixing some cement / mortar and applying only to the portion that has broken off?
