    Kitchen Sink Faucet Flow:

I did flush it by removing the aerator but I never flushed the lines disconnected from the faucet. This isn't my first rodeo. I have always flushed new installations with the aerator removegd and never found it necessary to flush the lines disconnected from the faucet.

    Kitchen Sink Faucet Flow:

OK....... Here We Goooooooooo. I have a new Moen Kitchen Sink Faucet, Caldwell m/n CA87060SRS. It is a two valve (one Hot and one cold faucet), high arc spout with spray attachment. The flow/pressure from the faucet is what I consider to be paltry at best (See below). The sprayer...

    No Backsplash Countertop

I have found a couple of places on-line that sell replacement laminated table tops for around $50.00. Since two sides are along a cornered wall, I can buy one a little oversized and then cut it to fit with about a 1" overhang on the remaining two finished sides. That's probably the way I'm...

    No Backsplash Countertop

Thanks! I agree, I haven't tried that route yet. 1. First I usually look to buy premade items that I can modify or just fit into place. 2. Next I would buy the materials and make it my self (This is to costly and not worth the work considering the material and the tools I need to...

    No Backsplash Countertop

Thanks for the tip. The closest retailer to me is almost 500 miles away. I'll need to check around locally to see if someone does order from these people. I'm betting that the shipping would be pretty costly in any case.

    No Backsplash Countertop

I would like to install a laminate countertop without a backsplash in a area that is aprox 24" Deep x 46" long in a utility room. I have found quite a few "here's how to do it instructions" thus far but I would prefer to purchase what would be a standard counter top and then just cut...

    Kitchen Cabinet Painting

Thanks for the idea and the leads. I never gave it a thought about using an escutcheon plate. I know what they are but I just didn't think about using one. I guess I was fixated on using that that plastic sheet thing I had seen. The escutcheon plate is a great idea and it will also...

    Kitchen Cabinet Painting

Hello, A few years ago I prepared, primed and painted our kitchen cabinets. The cabinets are old and are relative inexpensive laminate covered models. The paint has generally held up rather good with the exception of the high wear areas surrounding the knobs. This wear was obviously caused...
