In my opinion, Moen has one of the most honest and competent Customer Service sections out there. We contact them as needed to get replacement parts. They are typically at no charge under the 100% lifetime guarantee.
Recently we got a new kitchen faucet from them as a result of an offer they...
My brother bought a few Grohe faucets years ago. They were expensive. They last a long time. The good thing is that when they break it is a bit hard to find parts LOL.
And the other good thing is that the parts are expensive LOL
But seriously, they are very well built.
Maybe you can cut a hole in the drywall to inspect the area? I know it is not the first choice, but might be something you can do.
I would ALWAYS prefer to do such an access hole in a wall instead of in a ceiling. Makes the patchwork easier (IMO).
And if the wall has wall paper the anxiety is...
it is not a time of day issue. And I ruled out the down-force issue.
Only happens a few months of the year when outside temp is about 60 degrees or less. I know about metal being thermal sensitive and moving in the cold but these galvanized steel tracks aren't going to distort in the 40* to...
our GE model JES1142SP1SS microwave quit working. We opened it up and found the thermal cutout was bad. The part number is WB20X10051.
I guess the factory in China can't make them fast enough because the back-order keeps getting pushed out.

that looks like a good resource. thanks
In the course of my diagnostics I disconnected the drive mechanism from the door. Of course, this would remove the weight of the door from the equation. The problem did not go away.
thanks for the suggestion. but that is not the problem. I have used my laser level and checked that. The brackets are firmly attached, etc. Besides, it works in the a.m. somedays, and then it turns cool and won't work in the evening, etc.
Any other ideas.
We have a Sears Craftsman garage door opener. Most of the year it works. In cold weather (i.e., below 60 degrees .we are in florida) it won't close properly. If I press the button to close it will start the trip down and after about 3 inches of travel it will make that bucking motion, the lights...
I concur with the Big Stretch recommendation. It is a great product and easy to use. No, I don't work for them. But it really does last a long time and doesn't dry out or crack.
I just came on here to see if anyone had experience with Bond&Fill. Saw it for the first time today at the lumberyard and it seems like a really useful line of products.
Anyone have comments one way or the other?
I know this is an old post, but it is almost too funny to be for real. I think the b/f's parents are brilliant.
Maybe they have a conspiracy so they can get their house back?
BTW - with a screen name of "yellowkat" I wonder what "the rest of the story" is.
