    Fire Ants

    What's the best product on the market for these things? I have several fire ant mounds in my back yard.

    Drywall taping

    Use a sharp pointed tool - and lightly etch out the crack. V it open so the compound will bond both sides. You can see how deep the crack is - You need to put some light weight one-time spackling into the crack. Only apply enough to fill the crack. Then re-paint.

    Have to get permit to build treehouse?

    The only real lway to find out it so ask the neighborhood association. Even if the answer is no, if it's not allowed better to find out now than risk the fine. Some of those can be pretty stiff.

    Natural pond

    Have a natural pond in my backyard and am wondering what's the best/safest/most effective way to make sure it doesn't become a mosquito haven. With all the health risks from those bugs lately, I don't want to risk that.

    Dirty grout

    Got some seriously dirty grout in the bathroom. What is the easiest way to clean it without spending hours scrubbing? I hate to use nasty chemicals but I think I'd rather do that than spend days scrubbing the stuff.

    Ugly beam on my ceiling needs help

    I have a friend who had the same problem. He went to his local builder supply store and got that cedar tongue and groove closet liner material and some bead for the corners and edges by the walls. I think it cost less than $50. He covered the beam with the cedar, put the bead on it and coated it...

    Need to set up storage in garage

    Also depends on if you wanna go plywood, plastics or metal. LOTS of variety in modular stuff. Check out Lowe's or Home Depot-places like that.
