    Seam separation granite countertop

Sure, actually here's a small portion of it next to a keychain bottle opener. You could stick a thin needle into where the grout is gone. Do you think a a sealer work by itself here? Or would it require digging out all of it along the joined section (about 3 feet, end to end) and re-grout?

    Seam separation granite countertop

Well the install was a few years ago before we had this home. The counter is in place, everything else is fine about it, it is just that I saw some water go into one of the seams and was thinking of what people generally use as an effective sealer for this. cheers

    Seam separation granite countertop

Hello! I’ve got a granite counter where there is moisture getting in to the seam between the contact point of where different slabs were joined. I’m a little overwhelmed with various products out there and what would be suitable. A clear epoxy or resin? Something that matches color? To be...

That square piece around the flange isn't actually particle board though it does look like it. It's some sort of cement board material; you knock on it and it's solid as a rock.

    Would you replace this subfloor?

Hello! I removed some laminate from our 1/2 bath as it was splitting from a bad toilet seal. I was prepared for a subfloor replacement, and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't all rotted out. In fact, there's just a bit of staining. With this in mind, would you, esteemed forum readers...

Thanks a lot for all the great replies, much appreciated! With this information, I'm definitely going to get a pro over to check it out. "Does the deck drain away from the house?" Well, while the water doesn't really flow back as such, and this was the first time that the problem really...

Sort of a siding/wall leak issue- advice requested

Thanks for the welcome and the replies, folks! I added a bit more of the view so you saw how it is positioned. That slab up to the wall is actually a suspended deck. The wall behind the broom goes right down to the ground 1 floor underneath, and of course, so does the wall. The slab is fully...

Sort of a siding/wall leak issue- advice requested

Hello! Hey there- we have a leak that emanates from this concrete deck (photo attached). If you see where that broom sits, underneath that is a wall to the first floor, and the siding was not sealed well against the weather. So, if you train a hose there, water pours down in the room. Next...
