What is the feasibility and cost of flipping this furnace?

I have to ask. Why do you need to do this? What's the issue with the placement now?

    Tub Not Level

Your talking level. Why are you measuring the tile and not putting a level on the tub?

    Tub Not Level

Hard to tell from the picture you posted .If what you say is the way it is the tub has to be removed ,the tile cut and the tub reset.I seriously doubt that the mud bonded to the tub very well. The mud is used as a bed to level and support the tub , not an adhesive.

replacing low voltage ceiling fixture with 110v fixture

You do have a transformer don't you?Your 110 line connects to the transformer in/line side and the 24V wires connect on the out side hot and neutral. hot to copper/neutral to silver if it's not marked

    drywall to stud spacer?

I'm with the other that it won't be noticeable after the wall is floated out.If it makes you feel better use some strips of 30# felt paper. It can be doubled or whatever to get what you need where you need it and easily trimmed with a utility knife.

help w/ finer points on using router starting pin

Just for 50 years.15 of which I owned a custom furniture and cabinet shop.By using the router hand held he can make a climb cut which will give him less chance of catching the sharp edge.

help w/ finer points on using router starting pin

I would just clamp the piece to the bench and route it handheld. That way you don't have to start at the small end.

Joints to use in a lintel for French doors

That's why I asked where he was located and got no response .He may have a timber framed house or could be in another country with framing we are not familiar with. Judging from his OP I sure think that's a possibility. I would not be so quick to give him advice on a ballooned frame home...

Andrew what is your location? This could have something to do with the correct answer.
