    Replacing T1-11 siding rot in middle of wall

    the lower 4" in the center was pretty jacked. I was able to get it out and the new piece in pretty easily. Tore some old tar paper in the process and put a new piece up behind the old.

    as I think about things...might be answering my own questions.. Just take nails out of the offending piece, then the nails on the edge of the adjoining pieces, then slide the new sheet in? Sounds better than taking everything out from the edge....

    Greetings I’m doing some trim and paint work on the south side of our house following a bathroom remodel. I have found some rot in the upper section of our siding. I assume I need to replace the board. I also assume i need to start on one end of the wall and work my way to the problem...
