I'd agree with boogeyman. But check Craigslist.org or Backpage.com for people actually giving them away for free or selling them for very low prices before buying one from a retail store like Goodwill.

We had a problem with mice at a vacation home we rented recently. I went out and got one of these "better mouse traps" and baited it with peanut butter in the garage. It seemed to catch one mouse every few days and we never saw another one in the house. :)

I would also give the chairs a quick mist of Febreze after the cleaning for that fresh "just cleaned" scent so people take notice of the work.
