that's kind of what i figured, but i was hoping somebody had a website bookmarked with the basics. i know a lot of people just wing it and try to use common sense, but it would be nice to know for sure everything is right. i'll see what i can dig up.

are there any general rules about this, other than being supported every xxx feet? i have all buried copper lines and need to fix a few small leaks and install cutoffs everywhere and was thinking about just replacing it all at once with hanging cpvc to get it over with.

here's what i ended up with. there was a seafoam color that i really liked, but i think ill use that in the bathroom instead. still need to paint the inside of the shelves and closet doors, but i like how it turned out. way better than the piss yellow it was before.
