It would be a good choice. There will be other opinions re: Delta, Kohler, etc. They're all good. i would avoid the cheaper stuff, like Glacier Bay.

I've heard that Moen is a good brand. Seems like a good choice to me. I got a cheap Delta and it has problems (but, it was installed in 2002).

Thanks for replying to my thread and thanks for your kind words. I hope your suggestion is good for me.
I'm keeping your suggestion in my mind for getting a better work.

Hey! I think it's a good decision. But there are other good faucets like Delta, Kohler, etc. These brands are high quality and will ensure that you're happy with your water.

The Builder of my home installed all Moen 20 years ago, and I have been very happy with them. Their customer service is excellent. The reps are very knowledgeable. The faucets have a Lifetime Warranty, (including pits in the metal) and they don't give you a hassle about sending replacement parts at no charge.

The only issue I have had, is that our water here in Houston is very hard, and once in a while the cartridge gets clogged with minerals (especially if you don't use the hot water for a long time), and has to be replaced. They send a replacement cartridge at no charge.

One of the other brands has a Lifetime warranty, but I don't remember which one, and I have no experience with them.

I haven't purchased Moen stuff yet, but I'm planning to and their customer service reps have been very good at answering my questions about their products.

i strongly recommend a Delta faucet. down the road, its real easy to change seals and they're also readily available. i worked at lowes in the plumbing section for several years
and we carried replacement parts for delta. the other brands were hit or miss. home depot is the same way.
