Those cabinets should have been joined together before adding the counter top. I do have a thought that might work. Remove the toe kick and see if you can use shims underneath one of the cabinets to level them next to each other. With a little luck, getting them level will close that gap. It would at leas even out the gap so the doors will look better when closed. You're working against a lot of weight with the counter top but who knows, it might work.
