I noticed a few tiny holes in the grout on the shower floor. I am worried about water damage. How can I patch these holes ? do I use regular grout ?

Yes, an easy repair. Try to locate the color originally used for this sanded grout. If not, try to eyeball it as good as you can. Fill the holes, let it dry, then apply two coats of sealer and you are good.
 
Thanks for the reply. Should I patch it up with new grout ? or use a caulking grout ( looks like caulking mixed with sand in a tube ). Or is there any product you recommend?
 
I have never had any luck with that "grout in a tube" stuff. Go to a big box store, get 3-4 different colors of sanded grout, and since you only need a pencil eraser amount, do some tests, let it dry, and see which one matches. Then return what you don't need.
 
I'd use grout similar to the color you previously had. It's not a hard home project! If you go to a store like Home Depot you should find the right color.
 
most stores that specialize in flooring will have grout sticks that you can borrow to match the grout you have, then you buy the grout and sealer and you're done. The grout sticks are samples of grout in stick form. I don't know if home depot or lowes provide that service
 
If only those grout sticks were accurate. I have found them multiple shades different once you install them.
