Storm door on stucco water leak

I need help with a door that leaks into my home. It’s located in a balcony that sits on top of a bedroom the door is leaking from the stucco I had placed a storm door on the stucco and I think it was leaking even more because the holes the screws made on it I recently sealed the holes with quikrete hydraulic and was thinking about doing a stucco coat. I don’t know how to install the storm door again if I should just screw wood boards on the stucco and the door on top of them or what to do. Thanks for your help in advance

Welcome.
If the leak is still there with the storm door removed, it probably has something to do with the threshold and door bottom seal on the door.

If the storm door is not installed within the door jamb you won't be able to seal, or weatherstrip it.

Installing the storm door to the stucco is a mater of drilling the stucco, filling the holes with caulk and then installing the fasteners, however, that will not seal the storm door.

Awesome thanks so much I resealed everything and restuccoing as we speak. I’ll try everything like that and sealing my entry door because I believe drilling the stucco will only cause more problems and a Leak again. Thanks so much for your advise.
