I am in the process of finishing my basement and am hanging drywall at this phase. I noticed this bowed window jamb and I’m unsure of how to straighten it out without cracking it. Looks like they used the orange foam that isn’t supposed to expand much. Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

You can use a rough cut wood or demo sawzall blade to loosen and clean the foam out then shim and nail the jamb plumb.
