I don't see it addressed here.
Maybe someplace else????
It's a big problem here.
All black, and slippery.
Plus not good for the roof.
I used to spray with Wet and Forget from costco, but they don't have it here anymore.
Suggestions on what is the best way to clean my roof????
Flat roof with white roof paint. Not silicone.

I've also had good results with that product. Home Depot has it.

We don't have lots of things here.
Shipping is the problem.
Shipping companies keep on raising rates on things that "Might" be hazardous.
Looking for something home made. Cheaper. Doesn't take so long.

A combination of water, bleach and trisodium phosphate. Other heavy-duty cleaners can also substitute the last one, but make sure they do not have ammonia.

Use a sprayer attached to garden hose that’s filled with equal parts chlorine bleach and water. After spraying the roof with the mixture, allow it to sit on the surface for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with clean water?

Wet and forget works very slowly, but it does work well.
Other places have it, but not the great price like costco.
Sam's club has it sometimes.
Haven't found anything else that works as good.

If you make your own solution with water and bleach add a teaspoon of dish detergent per gallon. This will act as a surfactant and keep the solution on the roof a bit longer. Bleach water will tend to run off pretty quickly.

Many roof cleaners for algae, moss, mildew etc will run off and damage or kill plantings or lawn.

And some will run down the siding and cause streaks as they clean stains from there also.

Keep that in mind.

Always a good idea when cleaning decks, siding and roofs to spray down the plants before and after cleaning to wash off any overspray and limit the damage.
