About a month ago I noticed water dripping on the basement floor from under the first floor bathroom. I thought it was the old 1980s toilet’s fault and went ahead and replaced it. I noticed the water dripping again and called a professional to reset the toilet. He confirmed there’s no water coming from the toilet: the flange area is dry.
We went downstairs and he told me the dripping was coming from condensation on a pipe. Effectively, a segment of one of the pipes that supplies the tub has an enormous amount of water as droplets forming on the outside of the pipe.
Does anyone know how to solve it? A dehumidifier is at work but it’s not nearly enough.
 
Dehumidifier and insulate the pipe to keep the moist air away from it.

You use the tub much? I would not expect significant condensation on a pipe that does not have cold water flowing through it. If the water is stagnant, it will warm up to ambient conditions. You should also be seeing condensation on other cold water pipes.

You already have the dehumidifier, so pipe insulation is next step. But what you posted does not really make sense to me.

It shouldn’t be happening but it does. The basement is extremely cool relative to the rest of the house and the concrete sweats often. The tub is used daily.
 
All the pipes carrying cold water have condensation. See attached pictures. But there’s water coming from the bend under the toilet. The plumber told me there’s no leak from the toilet. At this point, I don’t know what to do.
