House was built in 2002, builder installed 2" vinyl horizontal blinds. Over time a few slats have broken due to the window locks sticking out - if you don't hold the blind away from the window when raising or lowering they hang and SNAP! there goes another one. Mostly just me not paying close enough attention. They are not difficult to replace, but finding new ones is proving difficult, cannot find any blind dealer that sells them.

Anyone ever been through this ?

Ideas where to look ?

Indeed there are, and I already replaced one with that, but they cover up the holes in the bottom support, so not as appealing, though a viable solution .... one time per blind. I may have to do that if there are no other options, but would prefer to find extras somewhere.

Well... 17 years isn't a bad run for vinyl blinds. They aren't very expensive to replace. Not knowing the sizes of your blinds, how about replacing one of the longer sets and using the old slats to replace the other broken slats. Just an idea off of the top of my head.
Replace a window that's not right next to the others so the new ones are not as noticeably different.

I did end up getting replacement slats from the link above, it just took a little time to replace each one but glad I found that web site. The shipping is crazy due to the LONG box they have to send them in (as long as the longest one you are ordering) but still a lot cheaper than replacing the blinds.
