We ripped out all the carpet in preparation for switching to vinyl plank flooring and rugs. I see the sub-floor is nailed sheets of OSB, 2nd story room. The floor has always been squeaky, very noticeable when training, lifting etc. Is the solution to screw down the sheets that are squeaking while we can get at the sub-floor? If not, any and all advice appreciated.

Thank you. Is screwing the boards the correct way to do it?
It is how I would do it. Just make sure you use good quality screws (not drywall screws). I would pilot drill and countersink to make sure the decking pulls down also. There are quick change screw / drill adapters that have the c-sink and drill together. :coffee:
