Hopefully somebody can riddle me this. I bought 6" remodel cans for the house and I am now trying to find bulbs. The cans are rated for BR30 bulbs which are only 3" in diameter. Can somebody tell me why a 6" can and trim is only rated for a bulb that is 3" in diameter? I do not like being able to see the housing above the light bulb.
