We got the ladder to install for the attic almost 20yrs ago, but I'm certain it doesn't fold up far enough to fit the panel. Not sure how much work it would be to change the size of the opening.

Today I cooked a quick meal for Mom, brought in a heavy case of water (which hurt my shoulder) bc my brother refused to help. Stopped Autozone to get a torque wrench and spark plug socket. Friend changed out my spark plugs & ignition coils. He wanted to change out the PCV valve but we couldn't find it. It's not where it should be on any of the diagrams for the vehicle. It's just smooth empty spot there. Still have "check engine" light and "check emission system" lights on. Grabbed some food for me, my friend, and his daughter. Went to doctor's appointment. The good news is there is no nerve damage and it doesn't appear to be the rotator cuff itself-- its the deltoid. It has seized up. Doctor figures it was already agitated when I got zapped by the cooktop and the cooktop made it worse. Gonna have to take muscle relaxers and stuff for inflammation. Bad news is it will take months to heal and I have to try to avoid straining it. No heavy lifting. He gave me a list of more exercises to try and gave advice on how to use the rope pulley thing better. I need to try to relax the arm.

Found a different diagram that showed PCV valve in a different spot. Tried to send it to my friend but my phone shut off and wouldn't turn back on. Battery was at 30% but it should still run. Got it charging. Went back over to tell my friend what the doctor said and then met him at the gas station to buy gas for his car. Went into Walmart and grabbed some salads and headed home.

I forgot to mention that while my friend was working on my truck the cops rolled up. He had called them bc when he was tearing down the walls to his daughter's closet, a 22 rifle fell out of the wall. He didn't know who it belonged to, how it got there, or how long it had been there. He asked them to take it away bc he didn't want it in his house. They examined it, asked a few questions about how long he's lived there, where he found it, etc. He answered and they said they were going to put it in storage at the station.

So you're in favor of government tell you what you can and can't buy? Didn't see that coming.
You didn't realize that was mostly a hilarious joke because Kommunist California has MANDATED new gasoline vehicles sales be phased out by 2035? It even says it's a "stunt" on the page...

Maybe someone already mentioned but if you stop by an autozone or some such place they will read your error codes free and tell you why you have a check engine light.

Nice oven!
Well, I wouldn't get a Double Oven. I guess you haven't heard my feelings about said oven. It has never worked. The top oven wouldn't heat enough to cook a Pizza, so I called the warranty service. If I can't cook a Pizza, it can't be used for Thanksgiving sides either... The guy said it won't heat properly if the divider between the ovens is in place, AKA, there is no such thing as a "Double oven"... That was literally the entire visit, heating the thing up with the divider removed, where it eventually got up to temp.

Then the burners flaked out, they are hit and miss.

Then the display went whack, it's either a 1 or a 7.

Then the oven completely quit, it wont seal, won't turn on the Gas... Called warranty (This is 5 years in, one year left on warranty)... Lowe's said "Here's all your money back, don't call us again".

So, I got the $1200 back and bought a Frigidaire smooth top electric that has an air fryer. I need to put it in this week, but have had it for Months and don't want to give up the Gas range, which works great WHEN it works.

Too bad about the gas not working out. I WISH I had a gas range, I'm so sick of having cooked on electrics the last decade or so.

So you serve Totino's pizza rolls as a side at Thanksgiving, got it.

Ron, was it you or someone else who used something like this to remove popcorn ceiling? https://www.amazon.com/PopEEZE-Popcorn-Ceiling-Scraper-Attachment/dp/B077Y8TWVB

I know someone posted on one of the forums about using one to make it easier.

68bucks, I was just mentioning to my friend that I plan to ask them to do a scan next time I go to Autozone. I'm going to pickup cabin air filter and engine air filter. If its not raining Saturday morning, I'm going to have my friend install those and the pcv valve.
Although, my truck is making a weird thump when I make sharp turns & it was making thumping noises while I was driving. Seems to be the tire the dealership worked on so I might take it back in to them and ask them to check their work & see what is wrong. Also still need a refund on the oil. They used oil I provided but charged me $40 for oil.

I personally don't like gas stoves due to a few incidences of friends nearly dying from them. I know 3 people who had fires bc of them and my late elderly friend passed out from the gas when he accidentally bumped the knob while cleaning & didn't realize the gas was on. Another friend smelled the gas, saw him unconscious, dragged him out of the house and turned the gas off. With the luck I and my friends have, it's just a danger.

My brother woke me up this morning wanting me to take him to Urgent Care. He's had a toe infection for a long time. He needs to have surgery to remove an ingrown toenail but every time he went to a specialist they refused to treat him bc of his insurance. Said they couldn't even take him as self pay if he had that insurance. It started flaring up again a few days ago and is bright red and nasty. He's been putting ointment on it, but needs antibiotics. He called our regular doctor's office and they said he can't give RX without seeing it and it would be a month before he could get an appointment bc doc is booked up. There's a new urgent care clinic in front of Walmart. Nice comfy chairs. Staff are very nice. We were the only ones there so he got seen pretty quickly. RX was prescribed and we went to the pharmacy. Grabbed some stuff in the store-- a friend needed some otc pain meds (which they had locked behind glass) and some cranberry juice. Had to wait 10min for them to send someone to open the case and then they wouldn't let me hold the meds. They took the to register 9. Then the cashier wasn't there for another 10min. I got more magnesium vitamins. Got the stuff and checked out once the cashier came back. The NP at the urgent care said the new podiatrist in town across from the library takes all insurance and told us to check there. It's less than a block away from the post office so my brother went in and they said to get a referral from the doctor and they could see him in about 2 weeks. Called the doctor and asked for a referral. So, hopefully they can see him. Went back to Walmart to pick up RXs once they were filled. Grabbed a burger from McDonalds and came home.

Have you ever scraped a popcorn ceiling that has been primed and painted multiple times? It is almost easier just to line with new drywall!

Z... He has already mastered being a 13 year old, why can't he identify as an illegal so he can get free sick care anywhere?

All he has to say if asked is "Goo Goo Gah Gah no speaky Ingles", which will match his maturity anyways...

Have him throw in some Sey Boo Play or Sprechezie Deutch or whatever...

Did you get an extra amount to cover the massive inflation over the past 5 years?

Shocker in today's email from NYTimes! They finally told the Covid truth:
.
"For example, someone may show up to the hospital for an issue unrelated to Covid, test positive for the virus and get marked down as a Covid hospitalization. Massachusetts officials estimate that only about one-third of people hospitalized with Covid are actually there for Covid-related illness.
But that phenomenon indicates that Covid hospitalizations are overcounted"
.
A while back, another hospital admitted that word "Covid" got them an extra $35K...

Yep, it's called "Ka-Ching!"

I prefer a Gas cooktop but I like an electric oven. We have an electric wall oven and a gas cooktop/ electric oven range. I'm not real pleased with either one really. Their OK but not worth the money we spent. Think I have chronicled the problems before. Think I got onto the gas cook top from my days as a cook when I was a kid. I believe most restaurants tend to use a gas cooktop.

I am using Pop Eeze. I did post something about it last fall.

I got one end of the room done today. Started taping and mudding.

I use Zip Wall to keep the dust contained.

I dropped a sheet rock screw and it stuck in the floor.
