    Paint guns at HF

My compressor is rated 9cfm at 40 psi and 7cfm at 90 psi, i can run 90-125 psi constantly all day... I use it to run my air tools; grinders and chisels and such... so I am not worried about it running a paint gun... That being said, i dont know anything about paint guns, so that why I am...

    Putting in grout

cool, thank you much. The joints are less than 3/16 so I got the unsanded. I will probably get to work on this later this week. Have several other projects going on right now and dont want to start another one just yet. Will post back how I did.

    Pex manifold system/Home run system

I have used and installed pex a few times, and it has held up awesomely. I have done both trunk and branch and homerun systems. if you put the manifold as centrally as you can, or closer to the area it will be used most, you wont have any issue with long extended waits for hot to comeout. It all...

    Pex and diverter valves

are you asking about the connections from the hot and cold knobs to the diverter knob? or not having hot and cold knobs and goign directly to the diverter? you would get water (hot and cold both) coming out of the shower and tub constantly without any way of shutting it off. now if you plugged...

    Paint guns at HF

are there any air compressor paint guns at Harbor Freight that work with both oil based and latex that anyone here would recommend? Looking to do both interior and exterior painting with it. Would probably also use it for stains and varnish sealing of outdoor wood.

    Putting in grout

I dont see a place for title info... so I am posting here in the masonary section.... The house I bought has nice looking tile for the backsplash in the kitchen, but whoever installed it did not grout it. I bought un-sanded grout, and a bottle of sealer to seal the grout once I am finished with...

Cant fix the problem, the house is built into a hill... I cannot slop the earth away from the house on the top side, which is the joining wall to where the holes are. I need to know what to do about the holes... can I fill them? dig them out? Can I great stuff them? What do I need to do?

found behind the sheetrock on my remodel

LOL, Holmes on Homes is my favorite show... I have 4 shows that I watch religiously and Mike Holmes show is one of them... The first pic that Midway posted resembles most of the boxes in my basement/garage. Thing is every one of them is soldered under the tape. I have been into boxes where the...

Running conduit from basement to the standalone garage

Not rare around here. Everything, water, gas, and electrical is required to be below the frost line around here. Foundations and everything, the only thing not required is low voltage ie telephone or catv. The blue "wire" is PEX as he said in his post. Pex is a newer flexible, almost burst...

2 hot wires coming into receptacle

when you flip the breaker for that outlet, both hots die? or one stays on? If it is a single breaker that controls both hots, I would not worry about the reasons there are two on an outlet that doesnt have the bridge removed. If it is two separate breakers controlling the two hots, then I would...
