LG LRG3095ST/02 gas range F11 heat error, temperature sensor, ignitor, control board, or something else

I bet it does, try it! You won’t hurt anything. There should be a part number on the igniter itself. Norton is usually the brand or make. Also it does not matter the wire configuration.

LG LRG3095ST/02 gas range F11 heat error, temperature sensor, ignitor, control board, or something else

The reason the broiler igniter hasn’t failed yet is because it seldom used compared to the oven.

LG LRG3095ST/02 gas range F11 heat error, temperature sensor, ignitor, control board, or something else

Does the broiler share this igniter or do you have separate burners for both? If separate and you said the broiler works I’m betting the oven igniter is bad. The igniter could still glow but be weak, the valve needs xxx amount of micro amps to open- try swapping that out, be careful not to break...

Ruud Furnace is making buzzing noise while furnace filter is inside unit

Sound of the transformer probably, get a cheapie stethoscope from harbor freight and probe around, just be careful not to short anything out. Put the end on the housing of the components.

    Random malfunction on Rheem furnace.

How are the vacuum hoses going to the inducer switches? If they don’t close I don’t think you will get 24v at the control. Have you pulled them off to check for any cracks?

    Random malfunction on Rheem furnace.

That looks like a place for a ground.

    Random malfunction on Rheem furnace.

15v is an odd number? Xformers are usually 120/24v? Seems like a weird number to me..

    Random malfunction on Rheem furnace.

It could have a spark that lights a pilot, like the 3-wire flame switch type

    Random malfunction on Rheem furnace.

I don’t think it’s a bad board, gas control. Maybe try checking for bad/loose connections. I do a fair amount of furnace troubleshooting in my line of work, although I’m not a licensed hvac contractor. It’s intermittent and random, it appears, correct? Was the pilot actually cleaned? Do you have...

Using rafter ties as base for storage in 1950’s house

So my question is this, a lot of these were added to make a bedroom in the garage. I can make out a few of the originals but was is there a ‘rule of thumb’ for the distance between them or quantity of them? I’ve seen other homes of this vintage and they don’t have nearly as many. I’d like to...

Using rafter ties as base for storage in 1950’s house

Pardon the chicken scratch but when you say ‘notch’ are you referring to the lower pic? I was thinking of doing the upper pic. Which makes more sense

Using rafter ties as base for storage in 1950’s house

That was my original plan but wanted expertise on this. I still have a bit of work to do before I get to this, more sheet rock to remove, moving stuff around to minimize the mess, lol.

Using rafter ties as base for storage in 1950’s house

Ok thank you, though my roof rafters are only 2x4, can I use 2x6 ties(notched to fit onto top plate of wall)?

Using rafter ties as base for storage in 1950’s house

I’m getting my garage back, it was once a bedroom. I have removed the wall and some of the sheet rock with plans to add more outlets, insulation and new sheet rock. I’m wanting to swap out the 2x4 rafter ties for maybe 2x6(?) for strength. Not sure if it’s needed but want to add some plywood...
