Furnace inducer motor replacement gets three red flashes

Both units are made by Fasco and have the same type code and RPM. I didn't see anything about CFM on either one. I'm planning on contacting the vendor tomorrow to see if they might know what the issue is.

Furnace inducer motor replacement gets three red flashes

Thanks, I'd already looked that up. Given that the old inducer still works, can I assume that the issue must be with the new ones that were sent? Seems like "blocked vent pipes, blocked air intake pipes, faulty pressure switch or pressure switch hose" would all prevent the old one from working...

Furnace inducer motor replacement gets three red flashes

The inducer motor on my York furnace was running loud so I ordered a replacement. Put the new one in, but the furnace didn't start, and instead only repeatedly flashed red three times. I put the old motor back in and the furnace kicked back on and worked again (though was still loud). I...

Garage door opener part off by one letter

Thanks, but I was able to confirm via their website that both part #s refer to the same part. I've since replaced the part and everything works fine now.

Programming garage door opener works for only a single open/close

In case anyone finds this, the problem was the logic board. Had to replace it. Was able to program the remotes and external keypad with no issues after that.

Garage door opener part off by one letter

I went to their website. Both part #s refer to the same part. I got the new logic board (the one listed with the different part #), installed it, and it worked.

Garage door opener part off by one letter

I need to replace my Chamberlain AccessMaster garage door opener logic board. The part # is 41A5021-1H-315. I'm having trouble finding that part, but I get lots of results for part # 41A5021-1M-315. They look similar. Can one be used in lieu of another?

Programming garage door opener works for only a single open/close

I have a Chamberlain Accessmaster garage door opener (I'm at work so I don't have the exact model # at the moment). A few days ago, both my remotes and the outdoor keypad stopped working, though the interior button panel can still open/close the door. I unplugged the opener and then plugged it...

    Are water heater thermostats interchangeable?

The water heater was still running, but the water was coming out scalding hot and the temperature limit switch kept tripping. I assume that meant the issue wasn't a blown fuse (I don't know much about this stuff so maybe that's not true?). Based on internet research, I first checked for both...

    Are water heater thermostats interchangeable?

Need to replace the upper and lower thermostats on my water heater. Does it matter which brand I buy? What kind of compatibility issues might there be?

All of a sudden I'm losing power in my kitchen

Wanna say thanks to everyone for taking the time to respond to this thread. That you guys are willing to share your knowledge and experience means alot to people like me who don't know as much as they should about their homes.

All of a sudden I'm losing power in my kitchen

I'll check the invoice later to see how it broke down, but I'm okay with what I paid. I was worried there was a bigger issue than just a bad GFI outlet and I was trying to brace myself to pay alot more.

All of a sudden I'm losing power in my kitchen

The test/reset weren't working even with the circuit on.

All of a sudden I'm losing power in my kitchen

Oh, wow, I wish I had some homemade pies in my freezer. Thanks, me too.

All of a sudden I'm losing power in my kitchen

Okay, that makes sense to me. I agree that special service calls for special compensation. I assumed I'd pay extra when I made the call and I even apologized to the electrician for dragging him out on a Saturday night. But I've got maybe around $200 worth of food in the refrigerator. Had...

All of a sudden I'm losing power in my kitchen

I'm not a very handy person but to save money I try to fix things around the house myself as much as possible (that's why I'm here on houserepairtalk in the first place). And I don't mind messing up if I'm learning along the way. But doing drywall or laying tiles wrong is one thing. When it...

All of a sudden I'm losing power in my kitchen

Maybe it depends on area? I'm in northern Virginia. I feel like things are more expensive around here than many other places (judging by our home prices and rents, at least). He also came out on short notice on a Saturday night. Would that make a difference?

All of a sudden I'm losing power in my kitchen

The refrigerator is working now. I think I need to ask him to explain the problem again. Sounds like one or both of us is missing something.

All of a sudden I'm losing power in my kitchen

I'd already moved the refrigerator before he arrived and moved it back after he left. As far as troubleshooting, I don't know. The fact that the refrigerator outlet was damaged and had to be replaced was obvious even to me. I noticed shortly before he arrived that the GFCI outlet couldn't be...

All of a sudden I'm losing power in my kitchen

It's definitely possible I'm not explaining it correctly, but that is my best recollection. He came back to look at it and said the new GFCI outlet is also bad and that he'd need to get a new one. He's supposed to be back today to install it. I believe that after disconnecting the new GFCI...
