Oldog/newtrick recommended that the closed valley application on my roof be trimmed. I googled and looked at gaf video but I can not find a picture of the completed process. Anyone have one? Or, a link is fine.

oldog/newtrick, I'm guessing that the roofer used: Polyurethane Roof & Flashing Black Sealant on the chimney flahsing. Described as "permanently flexible" but does it shrink and resist uv exposure?

I do not think of this as an item for a re-do, but more of as an education. The picture should have been cropped and enlarged, but I am not sure that it downloaded that way. oldog/new trick...et al....does this look like the way you have it done?

to do what oldog/newtrick does never came on my radar....and I looked around at big and small contractors....a whole new experience getting feedback here...a number of homeowners I contacted in the area...they had a similar pitch with new roofs...they only knew no known leaks and some could not...

Olddog/newtrick the last pic above was to show that many/some shingles are ski sloped..either due to warped wood or improper storage and re the roof ridge vent....it looks better than it is re height of opening....less than 3/4 inch and almost zip when the shingles alternate from 2ply to...
