I tried to charge up the fridge unit but the low side would not get above 55 psi or so before it bogged the compressor down and cycled off, very noisily I might add (from drawing too many amps I assume) so I let out some until it got down to about 20 psi on the low...

    1890 house wiring issues. Help!

    I had something similar several years ago. It ended up being a shorted wire in a ceiling fan that finally shorted out over a period of years from the vibration. Other than that all you can do is at the pigtails. divide and conquer sorta like using a roadmap.. I hope this helps.
