    Painting

My sister lives out in the country and got sick of all the red barns, too. She decided to paint her barn white, to match the house. It really brightened up her property and it looks nice, too. Just a suggestion. Judiebug

nice, small flowering tree for garden area?

I'm looking for suggestions for a nice, small (not too tall or too full) for my garden area. We have good sun in the area. I'm in VA to give an idea of the climate. I'd like something that's fragrant, as well. TIA! Judiebug

how to cure dead spots in lawn

    Foreclosures

In cities here in VA the forclosure auctions are listed in the newspapers. I don't know if you're looking to buy at auction, but from my experience it saves you a lot of time and money. You can find the listings in the paper ahead of time, ride by and see what you think. Our listings...

new "composite" wood for decks, etc.?

One of my neighbors was telling me she heard about a new "composite" wood that's supposed to be ideal for decks, patios, etc.. Problem is, she can't remember what the name of it is. Has anyone heard of this and know the name and more about it? TIA! Judiebug

    textures for paint

I've seen textures that you can add to paint. I'd love to have that look in my living room. Is anyone here experienced with textures? I'd love to hear from someone with first-hand experience. TIA! Judiebug
