    RocLok nailed the advice right on. I'd go with new trim, as R/L suggested, as too many good reno jobs are ruined by skimping on a few bucks for new trim.

    Do people cover their big worskshop stationary power tools?

    I've always thought of covering things up to keep them dry or protect them from dirt. I see some people cover their big bandsaws, jointers, planers, etc. in the shop to keep the dust off. Do you?

    ...and make sure, like earlier mentioned, make sure the blade rotation is correct. The blade should have an arrow on it. Oh, and read the manual! You'd be surprsied what a little knowledge can do... ;)

    Hello from Canada's smallest province!

    ...Prince Edward Island, to be specific. The little province with the big heart. Just discovered this forum today, hoping to learn from others on here, and maybe lend a bit of knowledge from my 30+ years of part-time cabinetmaking and a few years recently making covers for weather protection.
