    Yes, the white and the bare both go to the ground bar Unless local code requires a different bar for the neutral. The black and red go to the breaker. This ASSUMES you hooked the receptacle correctly.......that is, the white is going to the "L" hole on it, and the red/black go to the slanted...

    Why don't you just use drywall adhesive and glue sheetrock to the block ? You'd have to use some 2x4 pcs to "wedge" the sheetrock tight to the block from an opposite wall or something, until it had time to set ( like a day or so ) since nailing would be a bit hard, but once it set, all you'd...

    WHY don't you go with tankless gas....either natural if you have it availiable or propane if you don't ? I changed from a standard electric to a propane model for about 800 bucks with the propane company setting a tank, running the line and all.

    Well......30'x "1 1/2 cars" ( which I assume to be about 12' ??? ) x 4" minimum thickness comes up to 4 1/2 cubic yds. Do you plan to mix by hand or get a truck ?

    Advantages: Good heat....cheap fuel if you have a wood lot.....( one you can control and not be subject to the whims of big companies that most folks depend on )......if the power goes and natural gas shuts down, you have heat. Disavantages: Can be messy.....not as convienient as flipping...
