Depending on supplier, you might take them back and have them load checked. Like it was said earlier, one cell can cause problems with a brace of batteries. A good store should check 'em for free and replace one if bad.

I'll ask, are you sure the batteries are getting fully charged? Wonder if the charge circuit is shutting down early.

That is holding up better that what I thought. I thought that epoxy (in the plastic family?) would melt and dent. I may just have to look back into epoxies again. Wonder if there are many grades/qualities? Like the buckets. Did you use a card board template to come up with a one piece design?

I've used mine for that as well, but they are so thin in places I'm worried about breaking it.

^^^Those are the exact reasons I have never pulled the trigger on that floor. I do so much welding/cutting and floor jack/jack stands that I think I would damage the floor in short order. I love the look of them (even envy).

I've got three smaller boom boxes, not powerful, but good enough sound. One is a boombox for my Sirius satellite, one is for an Ipod and the last one has the radio and CD. My girls loaded up all my CD's on that Ipod, which is new to me and pretty cool.

Ouch! I think we all have those tools that give us the creeps. I have a table saw that scared me before and after I mangled the end of my finger. My wife asked if I wanted to go in for stitches...."where's the duct tape?"......
