The developer found the glitch last evening, and you'll have to do just a little bit to get it working for you.

" you’ll need to visit the thread you’re watching to reset the last-read-time. Then when someone posts something new, you should get the alert/email."

I have tested, and once I re-watched the threads, forums I'm interested in, it works.

Please re-watch and the alerts will come.

Of the four watched forums or threads, no notifications.

Have there been new posts on the threads you expected Alerts from? I had it set for a limited number of alerts per thread so it would not drive members crazy but changed it to unlimited yesterday. Can you visit the threads you are expecting alerts from and see if that will reset your alert notices? Try with at least a couple of them today.

Ok, in the mean time I'm periodically receiving antiquated alerts, piecemeal.

These two watched threads both received comments at 12:17PM today and no notifications were received;

New Homeowner looking for advice on concrete driveway repair

Retaining wall construction please advise

I'm not insulted at an abundance of notifications, and frankly don't understand an adverse reaction to notifications, traffic is traffic and if you choose not to subscribe, bow out.

The decline in notifications appears to have occurred in conjunction with the appearance of emoticons expansion and the daily traffic.

I subsequently received three notifications, all of which had been responded too, however there were no notifications of those responses.

There was an email problem yesterday, and notifications work off that. A notification of this thread is the first I've received in about 24 hours. I do believe they are coming back.

Seems there is an email issue that is being tweaked on as we go. Hoping to have it resolved soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
