Greetings, I removed a flagstone "patio" in my back yard last week and discovered another slightly sunken brick and stone patio hiding beneath, under a bed of sand. I have excavated about 345 big, old-school bricks: 9x4x2.5 inches. Anyone know the age/use/resale value of these? Pics below.
Thanks!
Mike M

They appear to be cement bricks, and if so, of little value, other than as an enhancement to your property.

The used clay brick that I have salvaged and reused have all had slightly rounded edges.

Then look on ebay or pinterest.

Post them on Craigslist and take any offer you get for them.
There an odd ball color and there's not enough of them to do much with them.

Thanks for the craigslist idea! Any possibility they are red firebrick? The dimensions match some descriptions I've seen for firebrick.
Thanks,
MM

Hi MM, where are you located, roughly? Any chance Mid-Upper hudson NY?
