Bending PEX sticks

I talked to a PEX manufacturer and was informed that you cannot bend PEX sticks. Only PEX that comes in a roll. Does this sound right?
The PEX in question is produced with the PEX-B manufacturing process (it has higher chlorine withstand).

I have mainly used it off rolls, but the few sticks I have used didn’t seem any different to me and I would bend them if the job required. A large sweeping bend can be done just in air and whenever I wanted a tighter bend I used the metal support clips that hold the bend. I think you can also buy plastic now. I used very few connectors when I did my home. I think 4 Ts in the whole house was it.

you can bend pex some. do not make hard turns like 90 degrees or the pipe can kink . but sight bends yes less than 90 degrees .
