My house was built in 1947. It is a cape cod with a rear dormer in the 1960s. The exterior is brick on the first floor. I know there is no insulation between the brick and wall. I sealed all the outlets and any drafts i could. Would adding blown in insulation be beneficial? I worry about brick sprawling and being that brick absorbs water if it will create mold. I added weep holes manually.
