Bubble/patch of watermark near skylight

Hi,

We just bought a brand new house and we've discovered the wall near the skylight had bubbled and had patch of watermark.

I've gone up to my attic to see if there was a leakage due to ice dams but I found no sign of leakage anywhere.

Could the water leak in other ways? Perhaps the water is leaking through skylight?

Sometimes water travels before it finds a spot to leak into view. Most likely, you just didn't spot the source.

Have a home warrentee, or have you contacted the builder?
