I got my cable pulled, so I've got RG6 for cable and Cat5e for internet. The Cat5e is already outfitted with RJ-45 jacks (to fit Keystone wall plates) but the RG6 has ordinary "male" fittings, so I need to get Keystone F Inserts for those, then I'm all set to snap them into wallplates.

My question is this: Do I need termination? I.e., do I need self-terminating F Inserts? I don't think I do, because having the wires hanging loose doesn't seem to be harming my cable signal at all. I ask because F "feed through" jack inserts are a lot cheaper than F self-terminating jack inserts.

Thanks,
Greg
