1. Hi,

The upper portion of the frame of my casement window is decayed. Is it possible to replace only that wooden piece? Should I buy just the window to suit the current frame or replace the entire system itself? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

This question comes up now and then. Honestly, with the improvements in window technology and the cost of new windows being lower . . . You are best served to replace the window entirely. Faster, better, more cost effective.

Good luck.:D

Neals right. T he top part is the last place it should have rotted unless there's something very wrong with the way it was installed or trimed out.
