Can't remove handle from the fridge side of a side-by-side

I have a Frigidaire side-by-side fridge with a loose handle on the fridge side. It's very similar or identical to the one shown in this video. The video and others like it show how easy it is to remove the handle by pushing it up. I just tried pushing real hard but it didn't move a bit. I noticed that all those videos show the freezer side being adjusted. Is there a difference between the two handles? What do I need to do to tighten my handle? Thx!

Is the handle proportionately loose at both the top and bottom attachment points?

I would grip the handle with one hand and bump the bottom with the heel of the other palm.

It's slightly more loose at the bottom. Tried to bump it, same result

Possibly the screw is askew. Try some PB blaster or WD and gentle manipulation, in a twisting motion.
