The roofers used long nails and you see the results. I'd like to find a low cost way to cover all this mess. Maybe some sort of panel or board attached to the rafters. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Wes

What about just painting it all flat white.

The paint will make it less obvious, but you will still see the nails if you are looking for them. Something like plywood attached to the rafters will def cover it, but be aware that the hollow space in between will will attract all sorts of wildlife.

I'd go with the vinyl soffit or cover it with plywood or Hardi-panel. To keep the critters out make sure you close off all the openings. Venting wouldn't hurt.
