Ceiling fan light wiring

Want to put a ceiling fan in a room.
It has a remote control and a LED light.
I'd like to use the light switch to work the light, and the remote to work the fan.
It seems the control box controls the light and cannot be bypassed.
Any ideas on how I could do it????

Well, first you'll need to identify were the hot pair is, either in the ceiling box or the switch box.

I have a similar fan. Once activated, turn on the light with the pull string. Then shut off the switch. When you turn on the light, it will activate the light on the ceiling fan. If I want the fan, I use the remote. Mine is a Hunter Fan.
