The chimney from my woodburning stove, which is on the lower roof, it touching the higher roof. The inspector said there has to be a 2" distance between the chimmney and the roof.

How do I move the chimmey without putting another hole in my roof?

This is all I can think of right now. 2- 22-1/2" degree but you might need a short section of straight pipe to get it over enough but just the 2 elbows should be enough

Hello JustJackie:
If your chimney is made of triple wall pipe, the 2" spacing is enough. It has been approved by UL and the Tennessee Valey Authority ( both did exhaustive research on wood heat in the 70's). Some of their findings were simply amazing.
