clover removal ?

our lawn is infested with clover- any ideas /steps i can take to eliminate it ?

Weed and feed, the grass wants to be damp so the weed part can stick to the broad leaves.

A weed killer will not do a great job killing clover. Never had luck with it. The only thing I have found to work is to overseed your lawn and it will choke out weeds. The thicker your lawn, the less weeds can grow.

The weed and feed would work but you would want to do the whole lawn due to the feed part. You could use 24D and just spray the infected area, it will NOT harm grass but any broad leaf plant will be dead in about a week.

I thought 2,4D was a thing of the past, after reading Bluejay's post I looked it up and found that it was approved again in Canada.
It works great on clover and other weeds but like Mike stated keeping the grass thick will help.

Try "Par 3" I have had a lot of success with that in the past... Then over-seed.
