Compromised motor saver?

I am working at a school in Maine and we have a Littelfuse motorsaver model 520C (P/N 25A-135-UOO) that will not run. We have checked the power source, that appears to be in working order it's just that the reset button only activates the unit briefly and shuts off. It does this 3 or 4 times a push. A storm blew through here a couple of nights ago perhaps compromising the unit. The vendor is saying that SymCom 520C model is obsolete & to use SymCom LSR Series instead. I'm trying to validate vendor's recommendation here. If you have any other product suggestions, please guide me in that direction.

If you google them, it seems they have hundreds of web sites and no discussions about them on an forum, no troubleshooting. Almost like they are trying to control what you can find.
