The irrigation runs 2x per week but area is away from landscaping. Should I worry about subslab plumbing leak?

Welcome.
Plumbing leaks in a slab foundation are always a concern, but they are not prevalent.

It could also occur from an extremely hot garage, and a cool house.

If you feel this is something you need to track, as in the frequency of events or an appliance being used, such as a clothes washer. Such events can lead in the process of elimination.
