Film to protect windows from sprinklers

Just wondering if there is an exterior film that is available for windows? Looking to protect windows from hard water from sprinklers. It can get windy and it doesn't matter where the sprinklers are adjusted, they still get windows wet.

Most of the film is designed to be installed on the interior of the house. I'm recommend removing those high pressure sprinklers and replacing them with low flow rotary sprinklers. I just did this and now I get a gentle stream of water rather that the rush of spray which will evaporate before it hits the ground.

Lastly, Rain-x sells a product that will coat the exterior of the glass and will sheet the water. This obviously will have to be reapplied often though.

Changing the head to a different style, or getting that hard water treated would make more since.

You're just going to get water spots on the film......no difference.
