Found this on the curb with a sign that said free. All I had to do was clean the carburetor real good and it runs great. Need to order the thing they call a lanclet and I can start using it.

I've been given dozens of gas powered tools over the years for free.
As you said most often it's just a fuel issue.
One issue you may find on that brand is they has a horrible pull cord and they often brake, even when new.

I once saw an air compressor at the curb, stopped and saw a floor jack behind it so i tossed them in the truck as i was about to drive off something said look in the can in my head. So I flipped the lid open and there was a nice tool box full of tools and below that was all of some guys cloths still on hangers. I left the clothes. haha.

I never knew what it was all about but looked like someone got booted out with their stuff.
