Fixable tap handle?

Not sure if this is fixable, I'm unsure how it broke but it just comes off now. I can make the water come out if I push down on it with the handle and turn like normally but thats about it. Any information would be handy, thanks in advance!

Is there supposed to be a screw that runs down from the top of the handle?

thinking the nylon piece will come out of the handle to expose a screw.

so I am unsure of the make model, this came with the house when we purchased but I will see if I can find something. It might be missing something as well, I did not break it (one of the kids did and are not fessing up) so I only saw it when it was in the state of the picture. I'm hoping there is a way to re-connect it as replacing it would be tricky with no easy access to the pipes (bathtub is tiled in).

There should be a cap, cover or set screw somewhere on the handle. Look for a cap on the top, center.
