Flood protection with Ecobee 3 Lite

I had a scare today. I own a semi, and my neighbour messaged me today while I was at work that she had water coming in her basement. Since no one I could call had a key and the curtains were drawn in the basement, I had to come home to check if I had water too.

I have an Ecobee 3 Lite. Is there a sensor I can pair to it that I could put in the basement that if water is there, it goes off?

I will be getting a spare key for my neighbour.

That's a good option. The more I think about it,t he more a text message to my phone would be ideal.
